Presentation: OSU symposium on Black Girls
Last month, I presented my research on the role of Black fathers in the lives of their daughters at a two-day symposium titled Black Girls: A Silent Crisis, hosted by The Ohio State University Department of African American and African Studies & Rise Sister Rise. The conference’s theme was African American girls’ experience of trauma and resiliency. The symposium was Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13, 2014 held at the OSU African American and African Studies Community Extension Center.
